A picture I love

This is a photograph of my grandmother, Carmela. I took it during summer on my house, a few days after her 91st birthday and as you can see, she is cooking. We were watching a TV program together and from one moment to another, she started collecting some stuff and prepared the kitchen table to cook. There, in the picture, she recently started preparing her famous sopaipillas, that we ate at dinner as a welcome to one of my uncles that came to visit her from USA and arrived during the morning of that day. While she was doing her preparation, I took a few photos of her and she told me the secrets for a good 'sopaipilla pasada', that obviously I hardly remember.
It's not a great shot, but it remembers me the warm days of summer on my house, the memories I treasure with my family and above all, the love that me and my family receive from my lovely grandma. She raised seven children by herself and takes care of me since I was a baby. She isn't a person that shows her affection physically, but she does it with all the delicious food she prepares. She even learned to cook more vegetarian plates just for me, the best chef in the whole world I may say!
I love her and her curly hair and lecture glasses with my life, I don't know what would be of me if it weren't for her. Now that I'm living in another city and I don't see her so often, I miss her like never.
