Some stuff about me

My name is Josefa Sepúlveda, I'm 22 years old and I'm an art student at the University of Chile.
I moved to Santiago four years ago when I started studying journalism at the same university but I only did it for a year. I was born in Rancagua, a small city not far from Santiago. I was raised by my grandma because my mother worked in other city, she actually has 91 years old and she is like a superhero for me, she cooks the most amazing things you could ever eat.
I love animals, I've been a vegetarian since 2009. Obviously, I have pets: a dog named Blackie in my natal city who is turning 14 years old this year and a black cat, Chimuelo, he lives here in Santiago with me and my boyfriend.
I specialize in painting techniques, oil is my favorite material to work with but I struggle with it a lot. Francesco Clemente, Amrita Sher Gil and John William Waterhouse are some of my favorites painters.
I love analogue photography because of  Luis Poirot and his amazing work and a life dedicated to develope a lot of traditional techniques. And I love tattoos too, one day in the future I know I will be covered in tattoos, currently I only have five pieces, one of them is Dalí, my little cat who died in a car accident a couple years ago.
I'm a big fan of F.R.I.E.N.D.S and Phoebe is my favourite character of all times (not to mention smelly cat, what a great song).
I like to travel, last year I went to Perú with my best friend since highschool, Lina, and we promised we will travel all around the world. Our next target: we haven't decided yet, but it could be Mexico.

  5. I went to Mexico a couple of years ago and I LOVED it. Everything about Mexico was great: the food, the people, the places, the sounds in the streets, everything. I was really happy those days and I want to returnsoon.
Maybe you should try and visit mexico city and the pyramids near the city. You should eat chilaquiles (wiuthout meat) for breakfast and fruit with chile. Also elotes are really nice (lemon and chile with them) and sopes.
    Cheers!
